With the introduction of the G4 version, GAP Diagnostics has adapted its tried and tested G3 version to the latest on-board-diagnostic (OBD) hardware introduced by Land Rover: diagnostics over IP (DoIP). While this hardware change in the G4 will allow the IIDTool to communicate fully with all ECUs in the latest vehicles, it also means that the G4's OBD connector no longer has the capacity to support earlier vehicles.

*The Range Rover 2002 - 2009 and Defender - 2007 -2016 are not supported by the G4. Some vehicles may require an adapter connector Part No TFIIDADPT - please see Vehicle Coverage at www.gap-diagnostic.com/products/iidtool for details.
